The Cow is a superhero webcomic that updates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The Plot:
A young man meets an unusual demise by eating a tainted hamburger. Brought back a year later by mysterious forces (and a cow,) he seeks his vengeance on the evil Farmer Brown, a local farming tycoon and crime boss. But once his vengeance has been . . . er . . . ‘venged, what else is there to do?
Now he lurks in the shadows, protecting the innocent, fighting evil and desperately trying to stave off boredom. He often crosses paths with reporter Jenny Ashton, and by “crosses paths with,” I pretty much means she gets kidnapped a lot, and he has to save her.
Wherever evil strikes, The Cow will be there to save the day. To the best of his ability. If he can make it on time.
Artist’s Bio:
I came up with The Cow after making a typo in an AIM conversation. Seriously.
After doing a gag-a-day comic loosely based on my life for four-and-a-half years, I decided I wanted to do something different. I had originally done three and a half stories about The Cow, usually throughout the month of October, and they were one of the most popular stories I had ever done. I’ve always loved superheroes, so I decided to rewrite, redraw and generally redo The Cow.
My goal is to make a comic that’s fun to read. It’ll have funny moments, it’ll have serious moments, but I want it to be enjoyable. I read comics to be entertained, so I want my readers to be entertained too.
